This may include providing childcare or transportation to appointments, school, grocery shopping or Bible studies.

The mentor will also guide survivor to obtain social services such as medical, social security card, driver’s license. Guide survivor to education opportunities to obtain GED or diploma or higher education as appropriate. Job opportunities and how to prepare a resume and how to interview and dress for a job. In addition, mentor will guide survivor to legal services to clear any warrants or tickets and connect with victim witness counseling or other benefits and restitution.
